ANN ARBOR — Elliot Cadeau splashed a deep 3, threw a perfect long outlet pass, dribbled into a bounce pass to hit a cutter for a dunk, deployed a hesitation move for a scoop layup, connected on a pull-up jumper and spearheaded suffocating defense. And that was just the first five minutes of Tuesday’s game.

Michigan’s starting point guard led his team to a scorching start in an 89-61 win over Villanova at Crisler Center. He finished with 18 points and four assists, both team highs, in his most aggressive game yet as a Wolverine.
