Police have released an image of a man they want to trace in connection with a number of robberies in Darlington.

Liam Elland Smith, 21, who is wanted by Darlington Police, is known to frequent the Denes area of the town. He is described as being slim, with a tanned complexion.

If members of the public have seen the 21-year-old or know where he is, they are asked to not approach him.

They are asked to call police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
