Pimpri-Chinchwad:

Anita Sandeep Kate, known for her long involvement in local social work, filed her nomination on Tuesday for the General Women’s seat from Ward No. 28. The application was submitted at the Pimpri-Chinchwad BJP office in the presence of City President Shatrughn Kate.

Speaking after the filing, Anita Kate said she has shared a close bond with the residents of the ward for nearly two decades. She noted that since 2007, she and her husband, Sandeep Vitthal Kate, have been active in addressing citizens’ needs and concerns through various social initiatives.

Anita said her priorities include improving cleanliness, strengthening public safety, and creating better amenities for all age groups. She added that planned and sustainable development will guide her work if elected. “
