Steve Cohen warned all of us.
During his introductory Zoom call after he bought the Mets in Nov. 2020, Cohen said, “One team wins the World Series every year, so that’s a pretty high bar.”
He was right. We just didn’t realize that one team was the Dodgers.
They struck again Tuesday, stealing Edwin Díaz away from the Mets with a three-year, $69 million deal .
