The Cambria County Coroner said an investigation is under way after the body of a 48-year-old man was found near Pennsylvania game lands on Tuesday.

According to WJAC, Coroner Jeff Lees said the body was found by a truck in Reade Township, near the Cambria-Blair county line and State Game Lands 158.

The man had a single gunshot wound to his leg. He was pronounced dead at 10:07 a.m. at the scene.

Lees said that the man, whose identity has not been released yet, had not been hunting.

An autopsy is scheduled for later today. State police is helping with the investigation.
