1NEW YORK, NY – A Bronx man has been arrested in connection with a Midtown shooting last month that left a 29-year-old man hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Frederick Green, 20, of Union Avenue, was taken into custody late Monday night by officers from the Midtown South Precinct.

He is charged with attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police said the charges stem from a November 16 shooting that occurred around 2:06 a.m. outside 156 West 38th Street, where an unidentified gunman fired a round that struck the victim in the abdomen.

Emergency medical personnel rushed the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
