The House is set to vote on a $900 billion military bill that outlines Pentagon spending, includes a 3.8% pay raise for troops and demands more accountability from the Defense Department.

The legislation requires the Pentagon to release unedited videos of strikes against alleged drug cartels, with lawmakers threatening to withhold a quarter of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth 's travel budget if it does not comply. It also mandates that the Pentagon provide more information about each attack.

The bill addresses foreign affairs by authorizing $400 million to manufacture weapons for Ukraine, permanently removing the harshest U.S. sanctions on Syria, and maintaining U.S. troops in parts of Europe and South Korea.
