After going 1-4 over the course of five-straight road games, Ball State basketball returned to Worthen Arena seeking a bounce-back victory.
Unfortunately for the Cardinals, it wasn't meant to be. Ball State lost to South Dakota State, 68-64, taking a second-straight loss and its seventh in the last eight games. It was a close contest throughout until the Jackrabbits (6-5) went on a 9-0 run midway through the second half to go up by double-digits. The Cardinals fought back to make it a two-point game but failed to score over the last 3:26 en route to the loss.
