Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI) introduced articles of impeachment against Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Wednesday for threatening the country’s health.

Stevens, who is running for Michigan’s open Senate seat in 2026, has targeted Kennedy with criticism for months, accusing him of harming healthcare, health research, and promoting conspiracy theories. More than two months after announcing her intent to do so, Stevens finally followed through on long-promised threats to file articles of impeachment against Kennedy, saying his tenure has made American families “less safe.”
