Luigi Mangione was seated at a table at a McDonald’s restaurant in Pennsylvania when two police officers walked in to have a chat.
“Can you pull your mask down real quick for me?” one officer asks Mangione. “Appreciate it.”
Decked out in an orange tuque, black coat and face mask, Mangione asks the officer his name.
“Mark,” said the officer. “Mark Rosario.”
The officer tells Mangione that a person called police because she thought he looked “suspicious.”
That’s how authorities found Mangione, the man accused of gunning down United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a New York City street last year.
