Letterboxd has been cinephiles’ favorite online social platform for years. It’s a great place for people to write reviews for movies they’ve just seen, share their love of older cult films, and make lists. A lot of lists. Now, via The Hollywood Reporter , we’ve learned that Letterboxd will officially launch its new film rental program, Video Store, which is now live. Letterboxd first announced the program in November. The films themselves display on “shelves,” like an old mom-and-pop rental store. They come in themed groups with title selection based on member demand.
