Goa Police have uncovered that the absconding Luthra brothers, Saurabh and Gaurav, booked flight tickets to Thailand at 1.17 am on December 7, precisely when firefighters and police personnel were battling the devastating inferno at their Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Anjuna.

The revelation has intensified scrutiny of the duo, who fled India within hours of the tragedy that killed 25 people.

According to investigators, the flight bookings were made on the MakeMyTrip platform while rescue operations were underway. “They were preparing to flee as our teams were trying to save lives,” a senior officer said.
