MARTINSBURG - Bushtail Creek Unique Gifts marked a new milestone this weekend as it launched its first “Winterfest,” centering the celebration around its newly opened, chemical-free Christmas tree farm, one-of-a-kind in the Eastern Panhandle.

Owner Lizette Pierce, who has operated Bushtail Creek since 2006 and moved the business to Berkeley County in 2019, said the new tree farm has been years in the making. A portion of the farm’s trees are now ready for harvest, marking roughly five years of growth.
