JAMES CITY — Zachary Wolicki operates an old-fashioned Christmas tree lot.

It’s the kind of hometown lot where people return year after year to seek fresh, live trees at a place where owners create their own forests of holiday cheer.

Wolicki’s lot is located on Longhill Road in James City County near the intersection with Route 199. It is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
