INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man is facing charges after allegedly critically injuring a pedestrian with his car, leaving the scene and lying to police about what happened .
A warrant was issued for Dominique McCoy for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death or catastrophic injury, operating a motor vehicle without a license, obstruction of justice and false informing.
According to court documents, IMPD officers were dispatched around 9:15 p.m. Oct. 24 to the area of North Shadeland Avenue on a report of a personal injury hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian.
When officers arrived on scene, court documents say they learned that a pedestrian had been hit by a driver that fled the scene.
Documents say the pedestrian suffered "serious injuries" to his head and legs, and
