The Government has released a revised draft of India’s TRP guidelines to strengthen fair competition, improve accuracy and reflect evolving media consumption. The update follows wide-ranging feedback on an earlier draft and aims to modernise the decade-old framework governing rating agencies. The Ministry said the new system will support transparency, prevent manipulation and better represent the diversity of Indian viewership.
