Data centers have exploded into the headlines in the Duluth area and beyond. The question is not whether data centers provide vital service today, but: How many are needed? The bubble is growing, and its worldwide acceleration is an assault on our planet and destructive to the biosphere on which all life depends.
We must have a longer-term vision. We must question the need for data centers.
