COLUMBUS, Ohio — A juvenile was charged with murder after a person was found dead inside a home in Knox County Tuesday evening.
Around 6:15 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report of an injured person at a house on King Road in Howard. Deputies arrived and discovered a person stabbed to death.
The person’s identity has not been released.
The sheriff's office said a juvenile was found at the residence and was arrested for murder. They were taken to the Muskingum County Juvenile Detention Center.
Authorities said the incident was isolated and that there was no threat to the community. Additional details were not released.
The Knox County Coroner’s Office and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted detectives in the investigation.
