PICKERINGTON, Ohio — The former executive director of the Pickerington Food Pantry was indicted on three felonies on Wednesday after an investigation found she falsified business documents, according to Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and Pickerington Police Chief Tod Cheney.
Vanessa Niekamp , 55, was indicted Wednesday morning by a grand jury in Fairfield County Common Pleas Court on charges of telecommunication fraud, identity fraud and forgery, all of which are felonies.
Yost’s office says an investigation by the Pickerington Police Department found that Niekamp, as an executive director of the food pantry, falsified grant submission forms by altering a 2022 audit report.
