New Delhi: Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation paid a State Visit to India between 04 and 05 December 2025 for the 2rd India-Russia Annual Summit on the invitation of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The two leaders reaffirmed their support for strengthening the special and privileged strategic partnership between India and Russia. The two sides welcomed the enhanced partnership between the Indian Space Research Organisation and the Russian State Space Corporation, ‘Roscosmos’ for the peaceful use of outer space, including the human spaceflight programmes, satellite navigation and planetary exploration, as well as progress in mutually beneficial cooperation in the development, production and use of rocket engines.
