NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansas State Police received a formal complaint against North Little Rock Mayor Terry Hartwick regarding an alleged interaction at a public event.

The City of North Little Rock announced on Wednesday that it was made aware of the complaint filed with the Arkansas State Police.

Officials with the city said that Mayor Hartwick has been "fully cooperating with authorities" and that they're withholding the names of the individual(s) involved.

The North Little Rock Police Department (NLRPD) received a report on December 5 regarding the interaction.

At the request of the NLRPD, the Arkansas State Police special investigations unit will "investigate allegations" against Hartwick.
