As Del Mar College awaits the outcomes of offering college with no tuition costs to local full-time students this year, the Board of Regents has committed to offering a similar deal to the next cohort of freshmen and first-time college students in fall 2026.

The college rolled out its “Freedom to Dream” program last fall, removing tuition costs for three years for first-time college students pursuing credit degree programs full time.
