A short portion of police bodycam video of Luigi Mangione’s arrest was released this week.

Mangione made a name for himself in 2024 when he allegedly murdered UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

On Tuesday, heart-pounding footage was released of him. It showed the moment a Pennsylvania cop asks Mangione to pull down his face mask at a McDonald’s. Altoona Police Officer Joseph Detwiler approached the Ivy League grad on December 9, 2024. Mangione quickly complied with being asked to show his face.

However, he would then lie about his name, claiming he is “Mark Rosario.”

“Someone called, they thought you were suspicious,” Detwiler tells Luigi Mangione. The suspect responds with, “Oh, I’m sorry, um.”

Detwiler then tells Mangione that the caller “thought you looked like someone.”
