PITTSFIELD TWP., MI - The 17-year-old boy charged with killing another teen earlier this week had previously brought a gun to school.

Damarrion Demetrus White, 17, was arraigned Wednesday, Dec. 10 on charges of open murder, concealing a weapon and using a firearm during a felony in the death of Chikylah Richardson, also 17.

Richardson, another woman, the apartment resident and White had been at an apartment at 1440 Pear Street around 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 so that Richardson could braid White’s hair, said Stacie Shaw, a prosecuting attorney with Washtenaw County. The group had been talking about inviting another person over, Shaw said.
