ROSCOMMON, MI — A Roscommon County commissioner is charged with sexually assaulting a minor with an intellectual disability.
David S. Russo, 67, on Wednesday, Dec. 10, appeared in Roscommon County District Court for arraignment on three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a mentally incapable victim and one count of misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Third-degree criminal sexual conduct involves penetration and is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
Russo has not returned emails or phone calls from MLive. A defense attorney has not filed an appearance on Russo’s behalf.
