Everybody wants to win every game, but going undefeated isn’t a primary goal in the hot spot that is Central Florida boys basketball.

Just over three weeks into the regular season there are zero teams with zero losses in the Orlando area.

“I think there’s a lot of parity in the area this year, and the good teams are scheduling other really good teams,” said Windermere Prep coach Brian Hoff, whose squad suffered its first loss Saturday in the Lakers own Orlando Health Hoopfest .

Windermere Prep (6-1) could have handpicked one of the weaker teams in the event but instead chose to test itself against a tough Tampa team, Sickles (9-1), and lost 78-68.
