A GROUP of relatives of a patient resorted to stone-pelting and vandalism at Sahyadri Super Speciality Hospital in Hadapsar on Wednesday morning following the death of a 77-year-old patient. The police have booked seven persons and have detained four of them after the hospital filed a complaint against them.
Officials from Hadapsar police station said that a group of relatives of a patient who passed away at the Sahyadri Super Speciality Hospital during treatment started creating a ruckus around 11 am. “Following the patient’s death, his relatives started creating ruckus and pelting stones. They damaged the glass panes of the entrance and windows. They used barricade stands to break the glasses. After receiving the call, our teams reached the spot. No injuries to any person were reported
