On Wednesday at 2:41 p.m. an updated winter weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service in effect until Thursday at 1 a.m. for Southern Fulton.
"Total snow accumulations today between 2 and 7 inches," can be expected according to the weather service. "Snowfall rates between 0.5 to 1 inch per hour likely through the early afternoon. Additional snowfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches expected through this evening."
"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute," explains the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling."
