Snowfall is forecast across parts of the UK ahead of Christmas . The latest maps from forecaster WXCharts show flurries in the south of England, including in Hampshire, Dorset and Kent.

The maps indicate that snowfall will arrive in the early hours of Sunday, December 21. Parts of Dorset, including Weymouth, Poole and Bournemouth, can expect the heaviest snow, up to 10mm expected to fall per hour at 6am. The snow will persist throughout the morning, with up to 5cm expected on the ground in Dorset by 12pm.
