ORLANDO — When the Guardians gather for spring training in Goodyear, Arizona, in February, manager Stephen Vogt will have a message for them concerning the ABS challenge system that will be introduced for the 2026 season.

The system allows the pitcher, batter or catcher to challenge the location of a pitch as called by the umpire. Each team starts the game with two challenges.
