MAPLE GROVE TWP, MI — A crash in rural Saginaw County involving seven Texans has resulted in a Michigan man’s death.
Just after 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, sheriff’s deputies responded to the two-vehicle collision on Sheridan Road/M-13 north of Ditch Road in Maple Grove Township.
They determined a Ford Expedition containing seven Texans had been heading north on Sheridan when its driver lost control and crashed into a southbound Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Medical responders pronounced the Clio man who had been driving the F-150 deceased at the scene. Deputies did not disclose the decedent’s name or age.
The Texans were taken to Hurley Medical Center in Flint for non-life-threatening injuries.
