WAREHAM — Two dolphins took a wrong turn and ended up stranded in a marsh off the Weweantic River on Dec. 8, but rescuers soon had them back where they belonged.
The Wareham Department of Natural Resources reported in a social media post that they were dispatched to the site, in the area of Beaver Creek, at approximately 10:45 a.m. on a report of two stranded common dolphins.
They were found alive and active on the marsh but out of the water due to the low tide, according to the WDNR.
