Darlington Mind’s “Mental Elf Festive Fun Run”, which took place in South Park, has successfully raised over £5,000 in order to support the local area’s mental health services. Due to Darlington Mind being an independent charity, all of the money raised from the event stays within the region, going towards funding specialist programmes, wellbeing activities and counselling all across Darlington, Hambleton, Richmondshire and South-West Durham.
The event partnered up with other organisations such as Cockerton Silver Band, Yorkshire Rose Events and The Majestic Theatre, which provided entertainment such as music, a selfie booth and pantomime characters respectively. Darlington Mind has also been able to acq
