A New Mexico-based company is recalling a nasal spray that contains yeast/mold and microbial contamination.
MediNatura New Mexico recalled one lot of ReBoost Nasal Spray that was sold nationwide in retail stores and online, according to U.S. Food and Drug Administration announcement.
The company said, “There is a reasonable probability that adverse health consequences including life-threatening infections will occur with use of the product in the immuno-compromised population.”
The company said it has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall.
The homeopathic nasal spray is used to temporarily relieve nasal congestion, sinus headache and pressure, post-nasal drip, sneezing, runny nose and nasal itching.
The spray comes in a 20mL bottle in a white and yellow
