Emergency warming centers will open Wednesday and Thursday evenings because of low overnight temperatures, Toledo officials said.
St. Paul’s Methodist Church, 1201 Madison Ave., in Toledo is open from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. for singles and couples.
Leading Families Home, 915 N. Erie St., in Toledo is open from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. for families only.
There are also overnight shelters at Cherry Street Mission, 1501 Monroe St., and St. Paul’s Community Center, 230 13th St.
A warming shelter map for the city is available at toledo.oh.gov/shelter.
The National Weather Service office in Cleveland is forecasting a low of 20 degrees overnight.
Nights over the weekend are expected to reach a low around 10 degrees.
