ATLANTA — For years, Atlanta’s holiday soundtrack belonged to 104.7 The Fish, but after the station’s sale earlier this year, its iconic all-Christmas format went silent, leaving a festive void.

Now, Star 94 is stepping in, flipping the switch to nonstop holiday music through the end of the season.

Star 94 has made its boldest programming shift yet, temporarily trading its usual Top 40 hits for beloved holiday classics. With The Fish stepping out of the 24/7 Christmas arena, Star 94 seized the opportunity to give listeners an all-holiday experience filled with favorites from artists like Mariah Carey, Wham!, and more.

But the music isn’t the only familiar presence returning to Atlanta’s airwaves. The station has also picked up The Fish’s longtime morning hosts, Kevin Avery and Taylor
