BLOOMINGTON ( 25News Now ) - Nearly nine months after a fatal crash in McLean County, a man from Peoria is now facing charges.

Anthony Seidel is accused of veering into oncoming traffic while driving on U.S. 136 on Feb. 12.

As a result, 37-year-old Brooke Powell of LeRoy was declared dead at the scene. Preliminary autopsy results showed multiple blunt-force injuries as the cause of death.

Seidel was charged with three counts of reckless homicide.
