At 5:56 p.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service released an updated special weather statement until 8 p.m. for Passaic County.

"Light snow will be ending over the next hour or two. Visibility will improve, but locally slippery conditions will still be possible on untreated surfaces. Motorists should exercise extra caution. Drive more slowly and allow for more spacing between vehicles," says the weather service.
