FOXBOROUGH — Though the Patriots have amassed the NFL’s second-most receiving yards entering Week 15, they don’t have a pass catcher in the Top 25.
Stefon Diggs sits 27th with 705 yards on the season.
When asked about his wide receiver room, Mike Vrabel has said he believes its strength is the entire unit. Defenses can’t just take one pass catcher away and expect to shut down New England’s offense.
At his locker on Wednesday, Diggs said the reason for that was simple.
“Unselfishness,” Diggs said. “I would never sit up here and act like a robot and act like I don’t want the ball. But I can tell you the guy next to me right here and the guy next to him, everybody wants the ball. Everybody wants to play at a high level. It’s like seven dogs and one bone.
