SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Enjoy the warmer weather the next few days because a strong cold front arrives this weekend bringing the coldest air so far this season to the ArkLaTex.

For tonight, temperatures will be turning colder behind a weak front that moved through earlier today. Expect overnight lows to fall into the mid 30s across most of the region under mostly clear skies.

Thursday looks like another very nice day with plenty of sun and temperatures climbing into the low and mid 60s by afternoon.

A few more clouds arrive on Friday but we should still see a decent amount of sunshine. This will likely be the warmest day of the week as temperatures soar into the low 70s. Get outside and enjoy!

Changes start to take place on Saturday as clouds will be on the increase throughout the day
