GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. —

The Hudsonville teen accused of possessing a machine gun and machine gun conversation devices after being shot multiple times in Alabama in July had his bond revoked by a federal judge Wednesday.

Ethan Carter, 18, survived being shot seven times this summer after graduating from Hudsonville High School and committing to play football at Davenport University. As of Nov. 20 at 12:15 p.m., Carter's football player profile on Davenport's website had been removed.

He was in Birmingham, Alabama to train – something he’s been doing since eighth grade – when he was shot.
