ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. — A trip to Beaches Town Center will cost you a little less, depending on when you go.
After public input on the increased price to park, officials slashed it in half for part of the day. Now, parking costs $2.50 an hour from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
"We love this area so much, and there's so much good food," said Sheila Khosrozadeh after paying to park at the Beaches Town Center. "I think they get that traction, and we want to support the locals here as well."
Khosrozadeh remembers a time in high school when she could drive to Beaches Town Center and not pay anything to park.
"I miss those days," said Khosrozadeh.
