Glide's annual grocery bag giveaway returns, delivering food to those in need

Glide’s grocery bag giveaway in San Francisco kicked off Wednesday.

The church worked with more than 20 community partners to deliver hundreds of bags of groceries to people facing food insecurity around the city.

“We deliver grocery bags to more than 20 community partners, going from Japantown to Chinatown to Outer Mission to Bayview,” Glide’s Tri Nguyen said. “It’s a way for us to bring food to people who can not make it to Glide, meeting clients where they’re at.”
