A massive warehouse project in Perry County is off the table, but the developer might have another plan for the property.
The Susquehanna Crossings project near Routes 22/322 and 11/15 would have included an 818,544-square-foot warehouse/distribution center and an adjacent 1,128,544-square-foot warehouse/distribution center on a property along Amity Road in Watts Township, outside of Duncannon.
The township’s board of supervisors voted unanimously on Wednesday night not to grant an extension for the project.
The Watts Township Planning Commission recommended a final land development plan for the project on Valentine’s Day 2024. Since then, the supervisors have granted several extensions for the project.
Township supervisors voted in September to approve an extension through Dec. 11
