CLEVELAND — Some of Cleveland's most prominent pastors gathered Wednesday evening inside the sanctuary at Mount Olive Baptist Church to address a growing public safety concern: a surge in car break-ins during church services and school hours.

"This is not a problem about church break-ins only or school break-ins only or library break-ins or the experiences that a few people had last week on trying to be robbed because of the holidays," explained Dr. C Jay Matthews, pastor at Mt. Sinai-Friendship United Church on Woodland Avenue. "This is about public safety."
