WOODHAVEN – Monroe’s boys swimming season made a splash in their season opener.

The Trojans beat Ypsilanti 135-17, Woodhaven 94-88 and Dundee 111-69 on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

Junior Jayce Hay led the way, hitting Michigan Interscholastic Swimming Coaches’ Association cuts in winning two events (individual medley 2:08.46 and butterfly 57.97) and swimming on two winning relays.
