Danish coffee chain Joe & The Juice is opening its first store in Bath next week. The branch on Stall Street is the brand's 89th outlet in the UK.

It follows the opening of an outlet at Bristol's Cabot Circus - the company's first in the West of England - in August and comes as the business looks to expand its footprint in Britain.

It is understood Joe & The Juice is targeting 1,000 stores globally within the next five years.

According to a spokesperson for the company, the new store will reflect the brand’s "contemporary Scandinavian aesthetic", blending minimalist design with "a warm, buzzing atmosphere".

It will also have a dedicated space where customers can use the app to pre-order drinks and skip the queue. Bath locals will also be able to order online through Deliveroo.
