WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)-- Redrawing Indiana’s congressional districts normally happens once every ten years, but this year lawmakers are considering making changes mid-cycle — a move that has sparked significant pushback from voters and officials across the state.

The proposed new map, House Bill 1032, is not yet final. However, it cleared its first major hurdle last Friday, passing the Indiana House of Representatives in a 57–41 vote. It now heads to the Indiana Senate, where a full floor vote is scheduled for Thursday, December 12.
