Britons are likely to face freezing weather conditions just days before Christmas as a brutal Arctic freeze hits the country. Weather maps from WXCharts have turned icy blue as temperatures plunge to -3C.

According to the weather maps, most areas in England are expected to be affected by wintry conditions, with 20 counties likely to experience cold temperatures. The weather charts indicate that bitterly cold conditions will affect the country around 6am. on December 23. The dramatic weather maps come days after the Met Office issued several yellow and amber weather warnings , leading to severe travel disruption. Parts of South East England, including Oxfordshire, Surrey, and Berkshire, will experience the intense cold conditions and possible lows of -3C, just hours before the cou
