British thrillers have consistently ruled the silver screen, with masterpieces such as A Clockwork Orange, Layer Cake and C asino Royale standing amongst the most legendary.

This heritage persists in contemporary cinema, as a recently launched horror flick has been proclaimed the "film of the year" by viewers.

The eagerly awaited 28 Years Later, following on from 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later, arrived in cinemas earlier this year and has marked a pivotal achievement for British cinema.

Oscar-winning filmmaker Danny Boyle and Oscar-nominated writer Alex Garland joined forces once again to craft 28 Years Later.

The ensemble includes Jodie Comer , Ralph Fiennes , Aaron Taylor-Johnson , Edvin Ryding and Erin Kellyman, among others.
